Chris Brown’s album cover seems to be causing some controversy. I’m loving the futuristic direction Chris has decided to go with for this album. The album cover shown above debuted yesterday and apparently some people have a problem with Chris’s choice of attire for the cover. I thought the outfit was sexy. Now I’m sure if you asked me how I felt about men in “leggings” (the pants don’t really look like leggings to me) before I saw this I probably wouldn’t approve but Chris definitely pulled the look off. Everyone isn’t Chris Brown though so I hope I don’t start seeing other guys trying to pull this look off.

Chris expressed his frustration on twitter a short time ago by saying:

“WHO CARES IF MY PANTS R FITTED. its called fashion. IM SO TIRED OF CLOSED MINDED PEOPLE. IM 100% COMFORTABLE WIT MY SEXUALITY. IM A GROWN MAN. MY FASHION ISNT LIMITED TO BAGGY AZZ JEANS AND FITTED CAPS.. i did that in 05. CMON son. HATING IS SO LAME..”

HERE ARE SOME VIDEO STILLS FROM CHRIS BROWN’S VIDEO SHOOT FOR “CRAWL”

Have A Baby By Me

50 Cent debuted the official music video for his latest song “Baby By Me” featuring Ne-Yo. I have to say Ne-Yo really brightened up this track and took it to another level. I’m no longer really a fan of 50 Cent anymore but this wasn’t bad at all. Nice little concept behind the video which stars Kelly Rowland. Lovely.

CHECK IT OUT…

Chris Brown released his music video for his first single,

“I Can Transform Ya”

this morning on MTV Jams. I’m really feeling the video. Those who thought Chris wouldn’t be able to make a comeback may have been wrong.

I think he’s coming back better than before.

Chris Brown will be performing at Boston’s House of Blues on December 6th with New Boyz.

Tickets are on sale now…

For those of you who have Jay-Z’s Blue Print 3 I’m sure your familiar with the track “A Star Is Born”. The track is definitely one of my favorites. Produced by non other than the love of my life, Kanye West (LOL) the track features a new artist, J. Cole. Like myself, I’m sure you all have been wondering, who the hell is J. Cole?? He’s actually the first artist signed directly to Roc Nation. He has a mix tape released called The Warm Up & he’s an extremely talented lyricist & producer. I have no doubt that with the help of Jay-Z he will definitely blow up.

LISTEN TO HIS SONG “LIGHTS OFF” FROM HIS MIX TAPE BELOW…

I LOVE THIS SONG!!!! DEEP SHIT.

A lot of people have been comparing J. Cole to Drake… Personally I’ve listened to the mix tape & I think J. Cole may be a hell of a lot more talented when it comes to both making music & writing lyrics. Although I love Drake & his music, I think J. Cole presents a really positive message in his profound delivery. He isn’t the cutest guy but something about him is attractive. He’s definitely moving up on my list.

“Fame KiLLs”

29 09 2009

So in case you haven’t heard yet… Kanye West & Lady Gaga have in fact NOT canceled their upcoming tour “Fame Kills” despite contrary belief. I guess since Kanye mentioned taking a break from the limelight on Jay Leno earlier this month everyone assumed he’d be canceling the tour.

Anyone who knows me well knows that I have a dangerous obssession with Mr. West! I just love everything about the man… I don’t even know where to start!! His music, his style, his persona… all of it !

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HIMMM!

With that being said, I have been waiting for this tour & I will definitely be in Worcester, MA on December 16th!!!!

“The storyline is that Kanye is on one end of the stage and I’m on the other, and the whole show, we are trying to get to where each other is. I want something that he has, which is the fame, and he wants something that I have, which is home, and my humble beginnings. So we battle each other throughout the entire performance to steal each other’s spaces. So I’m essentially on a quest to kill Kanye West to steal his fame.” – Lady Gaga

This is truly going to be a sick show with a fantastic duo. Although I’ve never seen Kanye live I know he is an absolutely amazing performer. However, I have seen Lady Gaga live & he stage presence is just phenomenal! I can’t wait for this show to get on the road :-).
